Modulo Pi ISE 2020

Modulo Pi announces the Modulo Player and Modulo Kinetic series will be on show at ISE 2020, with both media servers getting further enhancements in order to allow the effortless creation of visual experiences in any type of application.

The Modulo Player is a user-friendly media server designed for everyday projects. It combines the capabilities of a media server and a low-latency live mixer. Exclusive features, including X-Map for advanced 2D warping, playlist management and embedded show control capabilities, make it both a versatile and cost-effective solution fitting the needs of a variety of projects. In addition, over 40 new devices can interact with the Modulo Player, including NDI PTZ cameras and a series of USB phidgets such as controllers, sensors, motors, GPIO and RFID tags.

Meanwhile the Modulo Kinetic is a high-end fully integrated media server for video playback, real-time 3D, interactivity and tracking. ISE 2020 sees the introduction of KineMotion, an optical tracking module designed for state-of-the-art creative and interactive visual experiences. Combined with the capabilities of Modulo Kinetic, such as the 3D particle engine, nodal editor and timeline sequencer, KineMotion unlocks further opportunities for creative and interactive visual experiences, including projection on moving objects, particle drawing and tracking, automatic follow spot and light painting, among others.

Finally, the low-latency live mixer embedded in the Modulo Player and KineMotion offers full support of the Elgato Stream Deck and Stream Deck XL control pads. Modulo Pi media servers and embedded mixer support any number of Stream Deck pads simultaneously, providing a user-friendly solution to control presets or recall tasks.
