Edbak VWTA

Edbak’s VWTA video wall trolley is a solution for building video walls-- in any location and any module arrangement. The quick and intuitive assembly system facilitates both rapid and convenient installation and servicing.

The mobile solution helps in moving the video wall around, without the costs required to build several stationary systems. The standard caster wheel locks secure the system in place during installation and operation of monitors.

The aluminium profiles ensure a light and sleek solution.

The cable management system is concealed in the aluminium sections, to give a smart look to the video wall and its sophisticated indoor surroundings. VESA compliance and the screen monitor mounting system make the trolley video wall very convenient to use, while the 8-step micro-adjustment system requires no special tools whatsoever.

The flat screen height is infinitely adjustable, and the mounting design prevents the monitors from accidentally falling over. The system includes a shelf for a PC or an AV device.

Pop-out Electric Flat Screen Wall Mount for Safer Installs

Edbak Flat Screen

The Edbak ERM100 electric flat screen wall mount for recessed installations, says the maker, provides the safest service access system ever. Frameless monitors are very sensitive to touch so their mounting benefits from a specific feature: a pop-out system saves the need to touch the screen-- and thereby avoids any potential for damage.

Edbak designed its pop-out guide system, the most critical structural component of the wall mount, to be robust when engaging and disengaging the flat screen display from the wall recess.

This makes servicing very convenient, reducing time and improving safety. The independent 8-step alignment system helps install (without any special tools) the flat screen monitor flush with the wall surface.

The universal open-work structure and the integrated cable management system allow easy installation and a neater finish of the complete LED video wall.

The seamless carrier frame, by design, is very robust, providing a strong attachment point to the wall substrate. An arrangement of round holes and slots covers all monitor fastener arrangements, while the cross marker system helps in precision planning of the whole LED video wall layout, to speed the assembly and installation process.

All structural components have been designed and manufactured by the Edbak production facility in Poland, according to all applicable European standards.

When It Comes to Video Walls, Bigger is Better

Edbak VWPOP85

The VWPOP85 pop-out universal multi-screen video wall mount has been a large success for Edbak. A big part of the reason for its success is…well, how large it is.

This unit is built to handle those 42 inch to 85 inch screens, up to 80 kilos of display. These are the sorts of screens you use to build impressive, room-filling and lobby-filling video walls.

While large itself, the VWPOP85 universal video wall mount weighs only 14kg. It is designed and manufactured in Europe and carries all the leading certifications, including TUV Rhineland. It is fully VESA compliant.

With size and certifications on its resume, it needed only one more quality to move it up to a best-in-class mounting solution: a patented one-touch pop-out mechanism for access and service to each display in the video wall.

The patented Fast Release Pop-out mechanism in the VWPOP design makes it easy to deliver recessed multi-screen installations. The simple one touch “pop out” mechanism allows full extension of the display—it swings out of the video wall where access and servicing can be performed quickly and safely.

Pull it out when you need to adjust (tilt from 0-28° or adjust height 85-270mm) or for varying display weights as well as safe and controlled extension. Tool-less micro- adjustment is included for alignment of the displays. Precision-dedicated spacers eliminate requirements for on-site calculations and measurements, letting integrators create that seamless look that is coveted in the video wall business.

The special mechanism can be temporarily disabled with a security locking screw to prevent any unintentional pop-outs.

Based in central Europe, in Poland, Edbak is an in-region supplier, one with in-house design, engineering, manufacturing, warehousing and logistics that make it a one-stop shop inside European territory.

Edbak says its long history of close partnership with the installer community means the best interests of the installer, both for installation and service, were integrated into the product’s design.

While the pop-out system is the most popular feature, it is also its ability to carry the Big Screens that makes the VWPOP85 an over-sized success with integrators.

The VWPOP85 will be on display, along with other Edbak innovations in mounting solutions, trolleys, stands and kiosks, at ISE 2017.

Vision VFM-W Range, Flat Panel Mounts

  • PDF

Vision

Vision launch a range carrying the new moniker VFM-W, for “Vision Flat-Panel Mount-Wall”.

Four new models include two VESA100 and 200 models (VFM-W1X1, VFM-W2X2), and two larger mounts (VFM-W8X4,VFM-W12X6) which accommodate VESA sizes up to 1200x600 and 800x400.

Together these models cover the spectrum of flat-panel sizes. All the mounts have security fixtures.

The two larger sizes are made from especially thick material to take the weight of very heavy interactive flat panels, including Microsoft’s 84” Surface Hub.

Vision VFM series

For example, the VFM-W12X6 fits any flat-panel LCD or LED screen which has rear mounting holes up to 1200 wide x 600mm tall apart.

Interactive flat panels are large and very heavy. Vision’s VFM-W12x6 uses heavy gauge 3mm sheet metal to take the weight of these displays (SWL 130kg).

The thin design holds the display close to the wall. This looks better, reduces snagging risk, and because the load is close to the wall the mount has a higher safe working load rating.

A proven design allows fast fixing, and slotted holes on the wall part allowing levelling adjustment after fixing.

Once in place locking screws are fitted to prevent the assembly being lifted off the wall bracket.

It fits most panels from 55-84?, including:

  • Promethean’s ActivPanel range up to and including the 75? which uses 600 x 600 mounting points, and the 84? which uses 600 x 400 mounting points
  • Sahara’s Clevertouch range up to and including the 84? which uses 600 x 600 mounting points.
  • Microsoft’s 84" Surface Hub which uses 1200 x 600mm mounting points.

Shipping from late July.

Tempest

Does your customer need salt fog filtering for its projectors? That got your attention.

Seven years of technological evolution culminates in Tempest’s fourth generation of projector enclosures that safeguard valuable projectors from environment. And salt fog filtering can be found as a standard on one enclosure model in the range (probably because the California based Tempest has experienced what the seaside can do to projectors, just like other experiences the company has accumulated.)

To be unveiled at InfoComm, this modular G4 range (Blizzard, Whispr, Typhoon, Cyclone and Tacit product families), lets your customers tackle any projector environment-- from harsh outdoor environments to whisper quiet indoor spaces.

“The G4 range highlights why we lead the way in projector enclosure technology,” says Tim Burnham, Tempest’s President. “Through seven years of development, we have constructed thousands of enclosures which have been employed in all climates across the globe, and we’ve learned a huge amount in the process. G4 enclosures are the product of that learning experience – a reliable modular solution, developed to replace all our existing enclosure types and deal with every customer application. Whatever the requirement – portrait or landscape, outdoor or indoor, rental or fixed, freezing or hot temperatures, standard or custom enclosure sizes….”

Featuring Goldilocks OS technology to prevent overheating and deadly condensation, the G4 enclosures are now smarter than ever. The latest models have been upgraded across the range, with features including variable speed AC fan control, USB diagnostics and firmware update capabilities, and optional RS485 and Ethernet connectivity, web-based remote monitoring coming soon.

The Tempest G4 range of protective projector enclosures:

Blizzard G4 outdoor enclosures are now fully stackable, with three sizes capable of housing projectors up to 15k lumens. Blizzard houses 5-7k, 7-10k, and 10-15k lumens projectors.

Whispr is the choice for when you need to kill intrusive noise. Whispr features noise attenuation, making it perfect for quiet indoor environments, such as educational spaces. Whispr is also available in 5-7k, 7-10k and 10-15k sizes.

Tacit builds on Whispr, for projectors from 20k-45k lumens, with the same unrivalled noise attenuation as Whispr. Tacit models are projector-specific, and feature front or rear projector slide access for easy installation and maintenance.

Typhoon G4 is the premium rental and staging projector enclosure for outdoor events, tours and shows. Typhoon models cover most popular rental projectors, including Christie M-Series, Roadster and Boxer, Barco HDX and HDF, and Panasonic PT-D21K. The stackable Typhoon boasts many rigging options for installation flexibility, as well as optional thermal insulation for additional protection in extreme outdoor environments.

Cyclone G4 outdoor enclosures are also projector-specific, with models available for all business and cinema projectors up to 45K. The hugely popular model now offers salt fog filtering as standard, with additional optional features including Ethernet connectivity and remote monitoring service.

We began this article with a comment about salt fog filtering to get your attention. Let’s end it the same way. Think about World Cup time around Europe when hundreds (maybe thousands) of projectors are set up at seaside in outdoor bars, bistros and special venues
