NEXCOM's fanless digital signage player, the NDiS B533 features the 4th generation Intel Core processor family ("Haswell"), and offers improved computing, graphic performance as well as enhanced security in a reliable design.

NDiS B533

"The fourth generation Intel Core processor family offers numerous processor and graphic enhancements with integrated technologies," says Sam Cravatta, Product Line Manager, Intel Intelligent Systems Group. "For example, Intel Advanced Vector Extensions 2.0 accelerates integer and floating point computations to meet increasingly complex application demands such as anonymous video analytics. New graphics capabilities also enable full hardware-accelerated video decoding to allow stereoscopic 3D visuals and faster video streaming."

Adding the support for multiple displays, the NDiS B533 comes with three HDMI interfaces.

In addition, the NDiS B533 incorporates its fanless design in an aluminum cover and uses the latest Intel AES-NI in the 4th generation Intel Core processor family to protect signage content from tampering. The new instructions and enhancements in the Intel AES-NI allows the NDiS B533 hardware to encrypt or decrypt both local and streaming contents without taxing the processor resources, safeguarding signage content.

The NDiS B533 digital signage player supports the 4th generation Intel Core i7-4770TE and i5-4570TE processors and Intel Q87 chipset. Its fanless design supports up to 16GB of DDR3 memory, VESA/wall mounting, three independent displays with HDMI interface and network connections including LAN, Wi-Fi, and 3.5G or LTE. USB 3.0 interfaces and Mini-PCIe slots are also available for custom function and peripheral expansion.

Barco’s Sid Stanley and TDMaverick’s Jon Sidwick

Birds of a feather flock together so it’s no wonder that Advantech (one of the digital signage hardware companies with its background in IT) adds TD Maverick to its European sales network (the ProAV specialist business unit of IT broadliner, Tech Data Europe).

TDMaverick celebrated 20 years in business this year [Photo of Sid Stanley, Channel Manager EMEA for Barco, presenting a birthday cake to Maverick’s European Director, Jon Sidwick at ISE 2013] and, a timeline that took it from a fledgling distributor with 6 employees, to its claim as “the largest audiovisual specialist in Europe” selling across 14 European countries (and with successful divisions of its own: Hotlamps and Vision).
